The Omooba Yemisi Adedoyin Shyllon Art Foundation (OYASAF) in Lagos welcomes applications for Graduate Fellowships for scholars in Nigerian art history and culture.

Fellowship Terms:
(1)  30 days lodging in Lagos at a hotel adjacent to the foundation
(2)  Airport Pick-up
(3)  Office Space with internet access
(4)  Transportation support for research (as available)
(5)  Support and facilitation of research

Requirements:  Candidates must be
enrolled as graduate students in an accredited university,  pursuing
studies in Nigerian art and culture.  Priority will be given to
candidates researching individuals or schools represented in the
OYASAF collection.

Application:  1-2 pages introducing each applicant, describing research interests, and explaining how this fellowship will support this applicant’s research.   Each candidate should have one letter of recommendation from a faculty member sent directly to OYASAF.

Schedule: applications must be received by April 15.  The Board of Directors will review the applications and announce the winners on May 7.
